About Us

King Neptune's Pet World, in Shorewood, IL, is the area's leading pet store serving Shorewood, Joliet, Plainfield and surrounding areas since 1983. We specialize in puppies, kittens, dogs and cats. We also offer pet supplies, food, treats, pet clothing, grooming and more. Our nonprofit kitten adoption program includes all vaccinations, all anti parasitics, rabies vaccine, spaying/neutering, large litter box, litter bowls, a toy, collar and food. Our puppies include all routine vaccinations, rabies vaccination, micro-chipping, spaying/neutering and a first time free grooming. I bought my boxer Daisy here about 4 1/2 years ago in December. She never had health problems. We fell in love with her, especially my son the minute we walked in and we took her home with us that day, the pricing with chipped spade/neutered, free, grooming, vaccinations, etc. for a year I mean the deal and the whole package was amazing, the staff and owner were amazing and very helpful with any questions I had and I also like how you can walk in and look around which even at Humaine Society or shelters you have to schedule and it’s such a process although I very much agree with homing shelter dogs I just felt like this process was Really nice to walk in and just see a connection you might have with the dog which we did. Daisy was one of the best dogs we ever had and she was smart and we are actually going to be buying another dog from King Neptune and the next month and I look forward to meeting them all and have already been viewing them online. Great place. Nowadays they only sell dogs and mainly dog related items. But, they do carry crickets and meal worms. It's been a fixture of Shorewood for decades. Give them your business!

I got both of my Bassets from King Neptunes pet world my one Bassett is now 13 years old and my other Bassett is six years old. They’ve both been very healthy if I ever get another dog again which I probably will I would go back to King Neptune
